Soil Core Samplers allow recovery of an intact soil core from the soil surface, the bottom of pre-drilled or hand-augured holes, or excavations.
A sturdy push-tube is manually advanced into soil using a rigid extension rod or driven with a slide hammer. An internal liner captures and holds the recovered soil intact.
End caps minimize loss of volatiles from the liners and are included in our Basic Soil Sampling Kit or sold as separate items.
