This specially designed Sludge Sampler enables recovery of sludge and wet materials in shallow boreholes and pond sediments.
A one-way flapper valve allows entry of sludge as the sampler is pushed into the material. As the sampler is withdrawn, the valve closes, retaining the sample. Liners are used to contain the sample for removal. Plastic end caps seal the liner.
Extension Rods and T-Handle are used to advance the sampler and are sold separately.
