Peristaltic Pumps operate at the ground surface by mechanical peristalsis, so the sample only comes in contact with the tubing that is lowered into the well. This allows for consistent sample integrity as well as easy cleaning and replacement. Peristaltic pumps are ideally suited for field sample removal from shallow wells to about 25 feet depth, all surface water sources and for laboratory use.
