AquiStar PT2X is a small, self contained pressure (level) and temperature logger that measures and records changes in water level. It is ideal for observing flow patterns, pumping or "slug" tests, and for monitoring groundwater, well, tank and tidal levels. The PT2X can also be used to turn alarms, pumps, equipment on or off at programmed water levels. Sensors can be networked for site-wide and even remote, project-wide control.
Our Water Level Loggers are "absolute", (non-vented) sensors. Use our barometer separately to record and adjust for barometric pressure changes. The Aqua4Plus software automatically incorporates readings from the barometer and adjusts the water level to take out barometric effects. Need a vented sensor? Just ask!
The PT2X water level loggers are available in two configurations:
Cable-Less, so they can be suspended on any type of suspension tether without an electrical signal cable and,
Cabled with electric signal cable for downloading, backup power, alarming and changing configurations via the cable without removing the sensor from the installation. Cabled sensors can be used with our VZCOM cellular modems for remote data options.
