INW’s AquiStar® PT2X is a small, self contained pressure and temperature logger that is submerged in a well or other location and records changes in water level and temperature. It is ideal for observing flow patterns, pumping or "slug" tests, and for monitoring groundwater, wells, tanks, tidal levels and any liquid that changes level. Cabled sensors allow for field data collection without removing the sensor itself, for sensor networking, and for remote data collection.
The PT2X is easily configured for the interval between readings, start and stop time, and units of measure. Data may be viewed in real-time or downloaded without interrupting on-going logging. Internal software allows the PT2X to be used to turn on/off alarms, pumps, equipment at pre-determined water levels.
PT2X Cabled sensors are available Vented (Gage) for barometric self-compensation, or Non-Vented (Absolute). A separate barometer for the site should be considered for long term logging with Absolute sensors.
Select the PT2X sensors for your project from the list below based on;
- Pressure requirement at maximum submergence; 1 psi= 2.3-ft of water column height.
- Vented or Non-Vented Sensor
- Cable Type
- Cable Length
*The PT2X is also available in a Cable-Less version separately.
